About.
WHO IS SELENA?
The first thing you need to know about Selena is that she’ll often say she will try anything once, but ask her again in ten years, and she’ll probably try it again. She’s a little bit this. a little bit that, with eclectic tastes in nearly everything. Often clad in towering heels and a tight dress, she’s playful, confident and unashamed.
She was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, and traveled extensively in her formative years with her mother, a former ballerina, but fell in love with the East Coast after moving out East to attend a small liberal arts college outside of Boston. She soaks up new languages like a sponge and can make friends in Japanese, Spanish, and German. She’ll attempt French, but the French love her either way.
Music has always been a constant for Selena, beginning with violin lessons at age three. She continued her music studies through opera, and toured Europe with a chorus and symphony once upon a time. These days, she’s more likely to belt out a rock ballad by some beloved classic rock group.
Reading is another obsession, and she’ll read anything from scientific texts to fantasy novels — despite her exterior, she’s quite a geek — to historical non-fiction. She does her best reading on trains and planes and wishes she could do more. Despite this, she likes to keep active, believing that it not only makes her look lovely for you but is also conducive to a clear and happy mind.
She’s quite a fan of sensuality — a hedonist, one might say. Perfumes, decadent meals, and fine textures get her going. There is just so much of this physical realm that feels so good.
And most of all, Selena is excited to meet you.
