Comparing Snails.

Hello hello and Happy 2025! Now, this entry is a little different from my usual posts and typically would be relegated to a video post on that other site but the people need to know!  For years I have had some variation of S-Vibe’s snail stimulator products on my wishlists and I understand the apprehension of some, it’s a unique design that isn’t exactly intuitive but regardless it seemed like a fun way to get off. 

There are three models for her currently, The Snail Vibe Dual Stimulator, The Snail Curve Dual Stimulator, and the Snail Gizi Dual Stimulator. There are plenty of videos and reviews online outlining the basic functions and features of each of them but I felt like there wasn’t much actually comparing them amongst themselves which can make choosing just one kind of difficult! Luckily, I was able to procure two thanks to the generosity of a patron (you know who you are!). 

I knew the Gizi was happening for sure but I couldn’t decide between the Curve or the original model. I wound up choosing the curve model as the penetrative piece is slightly smaller in circumference and I’m not a size queen in the least. Another thing that swayed me in favor of the curve was the loop on the end of it which I figured could potentially make maneuvering the device easier for both solo play and with a partner.

They arrived on the same day and bot came in these great hard shell zippable cases which have velcro tabs to attach around their charge cords as well as around the device to keep them from flopping around inside their cases while in transit. These little details really make the difference to me, I have so many basic black drawstring bags from other acquisitions that are fine but they don’t scream quality like the cases these two came with. 

Now onto the good stuff. I definitely have a favorite between the two and I think it will hard to compare them because there is such a glaring difference in experience with the two. I know everyone’s anatomy is different but in my opinion one of these is the definite winner by a long shot. I used both of these by myself, so perhaps the experience is different with a partner but for the sake of disclosure. I will start with a tidbit that afflicts both pieces, the ridged snail shell portion of both devices can be a bit difficult to clean but that’s a small price to pay for the fun they provide. 

The Snail Curve looks kind of like a banana at the insertable end and has a ridged round part that rubs against your bean. The long end that sticks out can be maneuvered by yourself or a partner. In my case, I found the curve to be a little unwieldy, I have very short arms and massive boobs that get in the way of their reach so I wasn’t able to get the best control of it. I also didn’t find the sensation of it inside me to be all that great, like it wasn’t the best arrangement for my anatomy. The insertable portion is quite firm which also wasn’t the best for me. It also had this unfortunate habit of slipping right out of me which added to the frustration, and that’s not the fun kind. Eventually with enough time and wiggling it was able to do the job. Would I say it was the most explosive ending? No, but I was certainly relieved to get there after what seemed like so much work. I’ll use it again, but in a pinch. 

The Gizi however, was something else entirely. Easy to insert, and it stayed put once in! It has the same basic idea where the ridged shell of the snail design is against your bean and a bit is inside of you, however the Gizi’s insertable portion is much softer than the Curve’s. I found the Gizi hit all of the spots without much maneuvering, it was set it and forget it for however many minutes of delightful stimulation. I found its dual motor vibration rhythms to be teasing but not in an exasperating way, it was just right and culminated into one of the most powerful endings I can remember.  I’m honestly shocked I haven’t seen more discussion around this toy because it has altered the course of my solo practice. 

Ultimately I would give the Curve a 3.5/5 and the Gizi more than 5 if I could. With its more compact design, lower price point, and more delightful feel it’s a no brainer which one I’d go with.  Hands down, I’m a Gizi gal.
