It’s that time of year again and I know I can be hard to shop for but fortunately for you I’m a bit insatiable and always bubbling with ideas. These options run quite the range in price or even purpose but I find each equally delightful!

Some of you may know that I get together with my friends weekly for a movie night. We all take turns picking the flames and me being the weirdo that I am, most of my old favorites or those at the top of my “yet to be watched” list are kind of strange or obscure, but many of them happily exist for streaming on this platform. I also spend a lot of time watching and listening to movies while creating and sewing in my home so this option would surely be appreciated for hours and hours.

Hero Rats are rats that are trained to sniff out land mines, they are light enough to set off the mine and rats are incredibly smart and easy to train. Rats often get a bad wrap but these rats are helping so many people. Plus, I think the rats are very cute.

When it comes to leather goods, my brand of choice is Faure Le Page. I came across this brand on my first trip to Paris years ago. I had a miserable time at Goyard and the Chanel store was a war zone. I sauntered my way down the famed  Rue Cambon and discovered this brand. I hadn’t seen it toted by anyone before and the craftsmanship is fantastic! I’ve visited and purchased goods from them on every visit since and during my last trip in 2019 I said they needed a weekender bag. Low and behold, it was released. I need a bag like this for overnights and weekend-long jaunts and I know a treasure like this from Faure Le Page would last me for decades to come. Preferably in the green color way.

I have a fantasy. Maybe it will stay in that realm, but I certainly hope not. I have always wanted to go out to a decadent dinner with a charming gentleman in an eye popping latex gown. I feel like this would be the best candidate for the job. In black and size Large.

Some of you know that I’m often on the road and in my travels I have grown to appreciate lovely luggage. I’ve taken a shine to this piece. I have other pieces of luggage from Rimowa but none like this. I love the size shape, and especially the color, which matches my car.

Strange thing I noticed recently, I actually don’t own a robe. This didn’t particularly matter in the beforetime when hotels always had robes in the room but ever since The Pause I rarely encounter them on my travels. Regardless, silk feels much better and I find the material to be incredibly sexy. Id love this in either Gunmetal in Black in a size Medium.

I’ve been dying for a spa day. I’ve let some people know that I fully intend on going to the spa and I usually make it sound like it will happen next week, but inevitably be put off as some other task finds its way into my schedule. Be a dear and coax me into relaxation.

Maybe you’ve seen me in these. These are my FAVORITE SUNGLASSES I’ve ever owned, they go with everything and suit my face so well. Unfortunately I lost them on a flight somewhere between here and Indianapolis and American Airlines seems to think that a wormhole opened up and sucked them away from under my seat but I know better.

I used to spend every Saturday morning here in undergrad. I’d jump on any opportunity to weasel my way into events or special exhibits and spent so much on books in the store here back in the day. I don’t go as often, but this is truly one of those places that I can talk about forever and is always a place of solace and personal balance for me.
